Premium quality on Alu-Dibond
Aluminium composite panels consist of two thin layers of aluminium and a polyethylene core. Alu-Dibond is characterised by high bending strength, low weight and resistance to weathering. The colours are solvent-free and hence environmentally-friendly and non-toxic. Thanks to its modern look and feel, aluminium composite panels are particularly good for the interior and exterior decoration of homes and offices.
Excellent image quality
Your photo print on original aluminium Dibond will stand out on account of the photorealistic quality of the image. Your motif will be printed directly onto the smooth aluminium Dibond plate with a white background, bringing the best out of your image just like a photo. This means the printing process suits all types of pictures - whether images of the countryside or architecture, portraits or art reproductions.
Aluminium composite panel: Multi-layered and extremely versatile
The material, which is processed in layers, is UV and weather resistant. It is therefore ideal for use indoors and outdoors, for pictures, boards, signs, advertising, interior design or presentations. The aluminium composite panel is easy to affix thanks to the assembly kit that can be ordered. On request, we can supply the board with predrilled holes or with a high-quality, preassembled aluminium hanging system.
Delivery time: ca. 6-9 work days
Brushed aluminium: impressive images for the more demanding
Brushed aluminium has a striking look about it, with its metallic, very modern surface structure. Your photographic motif is printed onto a horizontally brushed aluminium plate leaving out white elements in the image and thereby highlighting the polished structure of the plate in these areas. Images with a large proportion of white and pictures in grey or sepia tones are particularly well suited to brushed aluminium.
Your photoprint is printed on the brushed aluminium using special, solvent-free inks. The plate consists of two thin aluminium layers with a polyethylene core in the middle. This makes the material light but still very firm and resistant to bending. The perfect material in other words, for a sophisticated living-room or office design both inside and out.
Printed aluminium: weatherproof and versatile
The aluminium used is UV-resistant and weatherproof. Because it is so stable, this material is well suited for images, plaques, signs and advertising which all look especially elegant on the brushed aluminium plate. You can order the right accessories for mounting it on the wall or order the photo print with a preassembled aluminium hanging system. On request, the plate can be pre-drilled to help you mount it on the wall with spacers.
Delivery time: ca. 6-9 work days
Colour-stained wooden frames
Top-quality, extra-deep wooden frames that give additional emphasis to your print. Thanks to the special finish, your image is not obscured at the edges and yet a seamless impression of the image within the frame is created. The frame depth gives the frame greater volume and thus sets an additional tone. The staining means the colour can be chosen to match the image, yet the fine grain of the wood remains visible.
Styles: available in the colours black, white, grey-brown and dark brown, frame depth 3.4 cm, profile 4 mm, without glass
Once you have chosen a frame, you can select it easily during the order process. Here you will be shown all of the frames again.

Free image quality check
When you upload a photo to posterjack, the very first thing we do is take a look at your image resolution, compare it with your chosen print size, and then provide you with a quality score which can be seen immediately after uploading your photo. This free image quality check only takes seconds but ensures you’ll be happy with your Alu-Dibond – no more second-guessing as to whether or not your photo is suitable for printing in a large format. If your quality score isn’t as high as you would like it to be, you can try switching to a smaller print size. If your quality score is unsuitable, you will not be able to proceed through the checkout process as print results will not meet our high standards and will be considered unacceptable. In this case, please choose either a smaller print size or a photo with a higher resolution. Please feel free to contact customer support for additional help.
How large of a file can I upload?
You can upload files up to 50 MB in size. If your image is larger than 50 MB, check to ensure it has been saved as a JPG (TIF files are generally a lot larger than JPGs with no real advantage for print quality). If you need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us – we’re happy to help!
What type of file should I upload?
We process the four most common image types. All digital cameras and graphic design programs will produce at least one of these file types. The types we accept are JPG (jpg, jpeg), TIF (tif, tiff), BMP & PNG. Our preferred file type is JPEG, which produces excellent print results and efficient file sizes! If you have created your image with a graphic program, you could save it as an one-sided PDF document, this format can also be processed. If your image is in a different format, please save it as one of the above formats before submitting to us.
Your digital camera produces images in a colour space we support – typically sRGB. Please do not upload images in the CMYK colour space, the results in printing with this colour space are suboptimal.
Your print sizes are listed under aspect ratio categories. What is an “aspect ratio“?
The “aspect ratio” of a photo, in its simplest terms, refers to the rectangle size of the image. Photos can be taken as long panoramic rectangles, shorter rectangles, squares, and anything in between. The “aspect ratio” measurement is a technical way of expressing the exact rectangle size for a photo or image. This is expressed as the relative length of the long edge of the image, compared to the short edge. Here is an infographic to help explain!
